Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you are all safely holed up with friends or family and looking forward to a day of stuffing your faces.

Here’s something to think about, inspired by “Iron Chef America:” the word “pungent.”  Is it a positive descriptor, or a negative one?  For me it’s negative.  It reminds me of stinky food.  But they use it in the intro for “Iron Chef” to describe all the beautiful creations that will emerge from the kitchen.

So is your Thanksgiving “pungent,” or something more appealing?
