“Hello, Finch! It’s Jay!”
“Why are you here, Jay?”
“Can’t an old friend drop by? I just wanted to see your nest!”
“Last time – and the time before that – you stole all my food.”
“Yes, but you forgive me, right?”
“You’re forgiven – but you may not come near my nest again.”
Forgiveness doesn’t require reconciliation.

Great lesson!
Finch should go shack up with that lazy grasshopper 🙂
Haha! I think Finch has probably had enough with freeloaders 😉
DAMN RIGHT IT DOESN’T. I loved this.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. Fool me three times… awww hell no.
What a terrific truth you told! Love this!
Yes, Finch!
Simple and straight. And Finch is right.
I’m glad Finch defined its boundaries and held true to them.
This was great! Forgive, but don’t forget.
Love this lesson – one I’ve always had a hard time with. Well done!
Forgive but never forget. Especially when you know their true colours. Good one!
This reminds me of daily happenings at my bird feeder, although the finches have an easy time chasing the jays away since the jays are a bit too big to land comfortably. Love birds!
