Every night there were two,
one and one refilled
life and soul
the chorus of touch
kept open
held close]

I’m feeling the love. “One and one refilled” does a good job of separating the couple but showing how they gain energy from one another. And falling in love is very much of chorus of touch. I love that turn of phrase.
I really like this. I love the words “chorus of touch.”
Loved the pairings repeated thorughout: Open close, life soul, one and one.
I agree that putting together “chorus of touch” was lovely.
I adored “one and one refilled”. I like how much you did with so few words.
‘one and one refilled’ is just lovely. And ‘kept open, held close’ says so many things about love.
“One and one refilled” – what an outstanding image. You’ve captured something really quite special here.
a chorus of touch—-soooo good. As a music person, this really spoke to me. 🙂
I love how you picked single words out of this to make a whole. Lovely!
